Thümmel, Schütze & Part­ner’s labour and em­ploy­ment law prac­tice com­pris­es a team of spe­cial­ists who have sub­stan­tial ex­pe­ri­ence in ad­vis­ing Ger­man and for­eign com­pa­nies on all as­pects of in­di­vid­u­al and col­lec­tive labour law, as well as em­ploy­ment law. A sig­nif­i­cant part of our labour and em­ploy­ment law prac­tice is fo­cused on em­ploy­ee-re­lat­ed ques­tions which arise in the dai­ly prac­tice of com­pa­nies, pro­vid­ing ad­vice in cor­po­rate re­struc­tur­ing, trans­ac­tions and per­son­nel ad­just­ments. This in­cludes draft­ing and ne­go­ti­at­ing con­tracts at all lev­els such as col­lec­tive bar­gain­ing agree­ments, agree­ments be­tween works coun­cils and em­ploy­ers and so­cial com­pen­sa­tion plans. Ad­vice is al­so pro­vid­ed on is­sues such as ap­point­ment and dis­missal of com­pa­ny bod­ies, em­ploy­ees and on lit­i­ga­tion mat­ters.

We rep­re­sent com­pa­nies across all in­dus­tries, in­clud­ing the au­to­mo­tive sup­ply, en­gi­neer­ing, me­dia and ser­vice in­dus­tries. Be­sides, we al­so act for ex­ec­u­tives, in par­tic­u­lar man­ag­ing di­rec­tors and mem­bers of the man­age­ment board.
