Dr. Yedan Li

Legal Counsel China Desk

born in 1985; Dr. Li studied law at Dalian University of Technology, Xiamen University in China, Cheng Kung University in Taiwan and received her Doctoral degree of law from University of Amsterdam in the Netherlands in 2015. She is qualified to practice law in China since 2008. Before Dr. Li joined TSP, she worked as postdoctoral researcher at Bielefeld University in Germany, as an assistant professor at Shandong University in China, as well as practiced law in a leading Chinese law firm.

She has published several articles in international legal journals such as Law & Social Inquiry, Asian Journal of Law and Society etc.

In the recent years, Dr. Li has been focusing on providing legal service to Chinese clients who invest in Europe, especially in Germany. She has rich experience in cross-border transactions and law compliance in Germany and in China.

Her main interests include M&A transactions, commercial law, dispute resolution and information law.

Dr. Nils Pelzer, B.A.

Lawyer

Born in 1986; studied law and East Asian Studies at the University of Heidelberg; from 2012 to 2016, research assistant at the Max Planck Institute Luxembourg for Procedural Law, under Prof. Dr. Dres. h.c. Burkhard Hess; doctoral work in comparative legal analysis at the University of Heidelberg. Dr. Pelzer has been licensed as an attorney since 2018.
Dr. Pelzer counsels German and international clients in the conducting of complex litigation, in corporate and commercial law, in M&A transactions, and in contract law. He works in a leading capacity at the firm’s China Desk and provides advice and support for Chinese companies investing in Germany.
Dr. Pelzer is a lecturer on Chinese law at the University of Trier and is a member of the German-Chinese Bar Association, as well as the European China Law Studies Association. He is the author of a series of publications on German and Chinese law.

Dr. Werner Oldenburg

born in 1945; Dr. Wern­er Old­en­burg stud­ied law and eco­nomics at the Uni­ver­si­ty of Tübin­gen 1965 – 1969; as­sis­tant lec­tur­er at the Uni­ver­si­ty of Tübin­gen (chair of Prof. Dr. H. Dr. Gerhard Bollmann

Dr. Franck Schmidt-Husson

Dr. Anastasia Burkhardt

Born in 1977, studies at the universities Göttingen and Paris II, research assistant at the Chair for Civil Law, Commercial and Buiness Law of Europa-Universität Viadrina in Frankfurt (Oder), doctorate in the area of the law of the limited liability company, admitted to the bar since 2008, member of the German-Russian Jurists Association (Deutsch-Russische Juristenvereinigung e.V.).

Dr. Burkhardt is a contact person for domestic and foreign enterprises, especially in the field of the car supplier industry. She advises them comprehensively on contract design, insurance law questions and issues related to restructuring and the liability of D&Os. Dr. Burkhardt conducts negotiations with customers and suppliers and executes disputes both inside and outside the courtroom.

Due to her corporate law expertise, Dr. Burkhardt advised on many acquisitions and restructurings. Zlata Sheve, LL.M.

born in 1979; Zlata Sheve studied law in Russia and received a Master’s Degree from the Ruprecht-Karls University of Heidelberg (Germany), doctorate in philosophy in Russia. Ms. Sheve has been working in our Singapore office since 2007 and has spent two years in our Stuttgart office from 2009-2010. Ms Sheve is a member of the Russian bar association since 2011 and currently works in Singapore as a Registered Foreign Lawyer.

Ms. Sheve advises mainly Russian corporations on their investments in: Singapore, other ASEAN Member States, and Germany, and as well in cross border layout of the corporate, employment and distribution structures.

Tilman Hölldampf

Dr. Jörg Henzler

Robert Vieweger, MBL

Be­fore join­ing TSP, Robert Vieweger worked as a lawyer in Dus­sel­dorf and Tokyo and ad­vised Ger­man and for­eign clients main­ly in the fields of cor­po­rate and com­mer­cial law, on M&A trans­ac­tions, re­struc­tur­ing pro­jects, and in­ter­na­tion­al con­tract law. Dr. Schön advises large and mid-sized (family-run) companies, D&O insurers, banks, and international credit institutes. Her practice focuses not only on corporate, business, D&O insurance, and banking law, but also on civil litigation.

Dr. Schön is a member of the international legal honor society Phi Delta Phi – Richard von Weizsäcker Inn Tübingen, and sits on the editorial board of JSE, professional development journal.
