born in 1959; legal studies at the Universities of Bochum, Lausanne and Tübingen; assistant lecturer at the University of Tübingen (Institute for Labour Law and Social Law); Attorney-at-Law since 1993; member of the VDAA (Organisation of German Labour Law Attorneys); lectures particularly on service relationships of company bodies and restructuring issues; co-founder of the Friedrichshafen Labour Law Days. Mr. Fuhrmann is a member of our law firm’s Management Committee.
Mr. Fuhrmann primarily counsels and represents companies, as well as members of executive boards, managing directors, and executive employees, in all aspects of labour law and the law on service contracts. Amongst others, he has special expertise and long experience on restructurings in connection with staff reductions including all questions regarding reconciliations of interests and social plans. Furthermore, Mr. Fuhrmann is specialised in the conclusion and termination of employment relationships of board members and managing directors as well as in the deployment of employees abroad. Mr. Fuhrmann represents clients both out of court and in court in proceedings in all instances.
