born in 1967; Dr. Bettina Linder studied law at the Universities of Heidelberg, Passau and Tours (France) where she also completed a law-related language training in English and French; admitted to the German Bar in 1998; several lectures on different topics, particularly on domain law and other topics of internet law; lectures on general private law and international law at the Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg (former: Berufsakademie); member of Deutsche Vereinigung für Gewerblichen Rechtsschutz und Urheberrecht (GRUR).
Dr. Linder acts for national and international companies, inter alia several publishing companies, in the area of the protection of industrial property. Dr. Linder has expertise in litigation concerning domains, copyrights and media law issues, and lawsuits concerning trademarks or IT-law, such as computer contracts. Since her career began she has developed a further main focus on topics relating to competition law.
Furthermore, Dr. Linder has long standing experience in drafting and revising standard form contracts – also English and French versions – and provides in-house-training on this subject for her clients. In addition, Dr. Linder gives advice on all legal questions relating to the installation of internet shops.
