born in 1945; Dr. Werner Oldenburg studied law and economics at the University of Tübingen 1965 – 1969; assistant lecturer at the University of Tübingen (chair of Prof. Dr. H. Schröder) 1969 – 1973; admission to the German Bar in 1973. Dr. Oldenburg has been a university lecturer on business and corporate law at the ESB European School of Business of Reutlingen University.
Dr. Oldenburg’s main focus is providing legal advice to mid-sized companies and their bodies on all commercial, corporate and employment law related issues. In this regard he is regularly involved in the negotiation and structuring of commercial- and employment-related agreements. Dr. Oldenburg also has a broad range of experience, which includes advising business enterprises on company co-determination law, restructuring and transformation of companies and representing public entities in corporate legal issues.
Dr. Oldenburg is an acknowledged author of numerous professional articles and reference books on company law, the law applicable to initial public offerings and stock listings, company co-determination law and corporate pension schemes.
Over many years until the end of 2013, Dr. Oldenburg had been a member of the management board of the firm.
