Harro Wilde studied at the Universities of Tübingen and Bonn. In addition, he worked as a research assistant at the University of Tübingen (under the professorship of Prof. Dr Rothoeft). He has been practising law with Thümmel Schütze since 1977. He practised as notary from 2000 until the end of February 2020.

Harro Wilde advises on all issues of industrial property litigation. The registration and defence of brands on a national and international scale are the focus of his practice. Furthermore, Harro Wilde supervises complex commercial and competition law issues. Harro Wilde has long-standing expertise on the verification and registration of proposed mergers before the national and European authorities, as well as on structuring vertical distribution agreements and other measures with a potential impact on competition law.

Another field of his practice is press law.
